Windows XP Embedded Thin Clients
Windows XP Embedded, or XPe, is the componentized version of Microsoft Windows XP Professional. XPe is based on the same binaries as XP Pro, but XPe with the full Win32 API support of Windows is without the overhead of Professional. It runs existing Windows applications and device drivers off-the-shelf on devices.
XPe solutions from Thin Labs are ideal to connect to web based applications which require JRE or .net Framework. The native Internet Explorer is a full fledged browser supporting all popular plugin's.
TheXPe system partition is write protected by using the Enhanced Write Filter(EWF). Administrators have access to the EWF manager through which they can commit changes made to the system partition.
